The Story

Starting off in his bedroom, experimenting with a couple of cables, a keyboard and a 4-track mixer, it was in trying to get some signal to tape that Joel discovered his love for the recording arts.
His first musical experience was when his parents gifted him a keyboard on his twelfth birthday. He spent most of his time trying to play his favorite tunes by ear. About a year later, he started attending formal classes in guitar.
In October 2008, Joel joined the SAE Institute (School of Audio Engineering) in Dubai in order to take a deeper look into music production and qualified in 2010 with a bachelors degree in audio production. Growing up listening to different kinds of music, he has always had a penchant for the production of music.
Joel Castelino is now an aspiring recording and mixing engineer, hoping to work with some of his favorite bands and musicians someday and make golden records. Joel loves to explore new audio technologies and has immense love for audio plug-ins.
